DELIVERY AND RETURNS POLICY
Aivon.ng ("the Website") is owned and operated by Aivon Supermarket Limited (“Aivon”). This policy, together with our Terms and Conditions, explain how Aivon may deliver goods and services purchased at the website. Please read this policy and our Terms and Conditions carefully; by accessing the Website you confirm to have understood and agreed to them.
Deliveries will generally be made between 7am and 6pm Monday to Saturday (excluding bank holidays). At Aivon.com.ng, we make every effort to deliver products on the same day of order. If we are unable to make the delivery on the day of order, due to unforeseen circumstances, we will call to inform you of this and reschedule a delivery time for the next day. Delivery will be made to the address written out by you on the order form.
We will make contact with you to arrange a delivery time upon receipt of your order either by telephone or email; we will endeavour to deliver at the agreed time however, we cannot guarantee delivery dates and times as these may be affected by circumstances outside our control. We will do our best to contact you if we are forewarned of delays. For this reason we are unable to accept responsibility for lost working time and recommend goods are ordered well in advance of any project start dates.
If we are unable to gain access to the agreed delivery address we will return the goods to our warehouse and make contact with you to re-arrange delivery. Unfortunately in these circumstances we may have to charge you a further delivery fee. All goods must be signed for to confirm receipt. If you are unavailable at this time we recommend a responsible adult is available to sign on your behalf.
We carry the risk of loss or damage to the products until you sign for them upon receipt, we therefore recommend that you inspect the product thoroughly at this time to ensure you are happy that the goods have not been damaged in transit and all items are present. Goods identified as damaged on delivery will be taken away at that point.
Any subsequent problems that are not immediately identifiable upon delivery must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt of the order, please contact 0813 520 4303. If Products are considered by you to be faulty or defective after the 48 hour period has expired please contact us for consideration of your query.
Food goods are supplied at the temperature appropriate to that food. Goods are subject to availability and prevailing market conditions, If any goods you wish to purchase are not available, Aivon will try to offer you 'alternative goods' similar to the goods you have requested, which may be a different price. Please note we will attempt to deliver substitute products should selected products be unavailable unless you request us not to do so.
We will tell you which items have been substituted and with what. You do not have to accept the alternative goods offered by Aivon. Acceptance or rejection of any alternative goods does not occur until you have the opportunity to inspect them at the time of delivery. Where alternative products are accepted, customers should check product packaging for the most up to date nutritional information and allergen warnings, as these may differ from the products originally ordered.
Although we take all reasonable care to ensure that recipe and additional nutritional information appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the information was in putted onto the system, the information appearing on this Website at any time may not reflect the exact position at the moment you place an order. Customers are advised to check product packaging for nutritional information and allergen warnings before consumption, as product information is subject to change after publication of the recipe.
There is a N6,500 minimum order value on any order placed on the Website. Orders above N15,000 will be charged a maximum delivery fee of N500. Orders under N15,000 will be charged a maximum delivery fee of N1,000. There is no delivery charge for orders over N25,000.
Delivery times are subject to availability.
Aivon reserves the right to withdraw this delivery offer at any time. We will deliver to the address specified by you when you checkout your order. You may subsequently amend delivery details via ‘my account’. We reserve the right to restrict or refuse delivery requests in certain areas at any time and without notice.
You or someone aged 18 or over on your behalf must be available to receive and inspect the delivery. Under no circumstances will goods be left unattended. If the person receiving the goods looks under 18 we will request proof of age. We may retain the goods if proof of age or an alternative adult is not available.
If you are out for the time of your scheduled delivery, or are unable to meet our driver in your workplace within a reasonable time, we reserve the right to return your order to our store and to charge our standard delivery charge for re-delivery.
If whilst inspecting the goods at the time of delivery, you identify goods you do not want, you are free to decline any product delivered for any reason (including the price on delivery). You can return them to the driver/delivery personnel and ask him or her to take them away. Any goods you return will be refunded. If it is a pay on delivery purchase, then you will only pay for the goods you accept. If the purchase was made by bank transfer, then a refund will be made to the account used for the transfer. If the purchase was made by debit or credit card, then the refund will be made to the credit or debit card used to make the payment. Refunds may take up to 3-5 working days.
Returns are free if the goods supplied to you are faulty and damaged. After the driver/delivery personnel has left, you have the right, except for the excluded items listed below, to return faulty goods and a full refund or free product replacement will be made according to your desire and product availability. If the goods being returned are faulty or damaged, send us an email or call our customer help line within 48 hours of receipt of the good. We would send our driver to pick up the goods free of charge. Goods being returned should be returned in the original packaging and a saleable condition. All sealed items must not be opened otherwise it would not be accepted on return.
In situations where the exact goods matching your order description is not available, we would suggest available substitute and alternative goods to you. A Returns/Delivery fee of N2,000 would be charged on the returns of alternate goods supplied not matching your initial order description if you accepted the alternate goods at the time of delivery.
Return approval on all returned items are subject to inspection and approval by the authorized representative of aivon.ng.
For a returned item to be approved for return, it must be in an ‘as new’ condition and returned in the original, undamaged packaging along with the accessories received with it. Items that are not returned in the above condition will not be accepted by aivon.ng and your payment will not be refunded.
Goods that are not faulty or damaged and not returned to our driver/delivery personnel at the time of delivery should be returned by you at your expense with your receipt or other proof of purchase to the address below and a Returns/Delivery fee of N2,000 would be charged for the returns:

Products That Cannot be Returned
Unless of poor quality or faulty, it is not possible to return the following items:
baby food and milk, frozen
perishable food and drink,
audio or visual software where the seal has been broken
newspapers and magazines.
In order to obtain a refund, please remember to take your receipt with you. Any refund due will be credited to the purchaser’s card within 3-5 working days. The delivery charge will be refunded only where the entire order is returnable (eg does not include perishable food) and the entire order is returned within 28 days.
Amending or cancelling an order
Changes to your order or cancellation may be made up until you receive a confirmation from us that your order has been dispatched. Orders can only be changed or cancelled via our website and not by email.
